The Huseini Sha'a'er

All high-ranking 'Ulema, Ayatollahs, and their Excellencies the Grand Maraje' (may Allah protect them), have not only declared these acts as permissible, and continue to do so, but these practices have taken place throughout the entire history of Shi'ite practice, and our Maraje' encourage these, declaring Tatbir and all the Huseini Sha'a'er as Mustahab (desirable and good) if not Wajib (obligatory).

On this page are a few fatwas, and amongst them are the most eminent Maraje', starting with the fatwa of the 'Ustad al-Ulema ('teacher of the maraje') Ayatollah al-Udhma Husayn al-Na'eni – the 'teacher' of the Maraje' at the Hawza of the Holy city of Najaf.

Why have Maraje'?

Since the occultation of the current Imam, Imam Mahdi (atf), Muslims have always sought the rulings of the Grand Maraje', the Authorities of Islamic law, on that which Allah has made lawful or unlawful. As you are aware, for us Shi'ite Muslims it is Wajib (obligatory) upon us all to refer to the Maraje' for rulings to assist us in our lives.
